Ministry of Finance and Economy as well as departments under it also held a korban or rites of sacrifice. The event conducted by the Employee Trust Fund, Ministry of Finance and Economy took place 9th June afternoon at the ministry.
106 recipients comprising asnaf from Brunei Muara District received the sacrificial meat distributed by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy. This year, seven buffaloes were sacrificed. Also present was Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Hamid, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy for Economy.
